Marketing! And Marketing YOU!!

Hello, my name is Phil Hammond and I'm an internet marketer, this is a very, very interesting field of commerce to be in, but the curious thing is, everything is all about marketing.
 

If this is the first blog post you've ever read – great! Also if you've 'been around the block' and been online for a while, this quick post on marketing could be the 'aha' moment you're looking for, it is THAT important.

Before we go further let's just remind ourselves about how the global events of the last few years have affected every decision we make. Have you noticed a 'shift' in the marketing campaigns of the 'big hitters'? Now, they market a product through the 'public in the street' interview ads and show friends sharing products in their lounge or gardens.

There is very little trust in 'suits' and the enormous, plate glass towers of commerce – people join people not programs or companies! This is the new cutting edge you need embrace if you wish to market anything, you must first market .. YOU! You may have been mislead (I was..) and been dazzled by the 'instant success' that the internet can offer, sorry - but it is not there. On the up side how would you like to power up now, to-day into the 3% of the internet elite that actually earn a good living online...

There are only 2 things you need to know and remember.

1. There is no such thing as 'instant-one-click-get-rich-quick' programs.

2. Real people are waiting to work with you, so it's up to you to make sure they find you, so learn to market yourself effectively!

“A leader without followers is just someone going for a walk”

I don't recall who said that, but it is so true and there are many, many people in my 'spam' folder just going for a walk! They are laying and maybe despairing in the wasteland because they are still hiding behind 'replica splash pages' or pre-written mass e-mails, that do not work!

Now, I know what you maybe thinking... I don't look like an internet leader!

Please let me ask you – what does an internet leader look like? They look like a real person and they will provide you with all their contact numbers and they will help you succeed, this is why they are successful. They are treating their online business like a 'traditional' business and building customer relations.

Have you got an effective Face Book page? This not to be underrated and will lead to many, many contacts especially if you post youtube video messages of you speaking about your passion. You will find 'friends' who will become business associates and will follow you – but only if you lead.
